यस्मिन्दिने न सेव्यन्ते स वृथा दिवसो नृणाम् / अनित्यमध्रुवं देहमनाधारं रसोद्भवम्

ധർമ്മസേവ ചെയ്യപ്പെടാത്ത ദിവസം മനുഷ്യർക്കു വ്യർത്ഥമാണ്. കാരണം ഈ ദേഹം അനിത്യം, അധ്രുവം, ആശ്രയരഹിതം, രസത്തിൽ നിന്നു ഉദ്ഭവിച്ചതാണ്.
