राजकृतवृषोत्सर्गक्रियादिनिरूपणं नाम नवमो ऽध्यायः गरुड उवाच / सपिण्डीकरण जाते आब्दिके च स्वकर्मभिः / देवत्वं वा मनुष्यत्वं पक्षित्वं वाप्नुयुर्नराः
rājakṛtavṛṣotsargakriyādinirūpaṇaṃ nāma navamo 'dhyāyaḥ garuḍa uvāca / sapiṇḍīkaraṇa jāte ābdike ca svakarmabhiḥ / devatvaṃ vā manuṣyatvaṃ pakṣitvaṃ vāpnuyurnarāḥ
“രാജകൃത വൃഷോത്സർഗാദി ക്രിയകളുടെ നിരൂപണം” എന്ന ഒൻപതാം അധ്യായം. ഗരുഡൻ പറഞ്ഞു—സപിണ്ഡീകരണവും വാർഷിക ശ്രാദ്ധവും കഴിഞ്ഞാൽ, സ്വന്തം കർമ്മഫലപ്രകാരം മനുഷ്യർ ദേവത്വമോ മനുഷ്യജന്മമോ പക്ഷിത്വമോ പ്രാപിക്കുന്നു.
