അറിയേണ്ട ഭാഗത്തിൽ ഗുരുവിനോടൊപ്പം ശാസനാബദ്ധമായ പരിശ്രമവും കഠിന പരിശീലനവും നടത്തണം. അത്തരം ശിഷ്യനെ ‘അന്തേവാസി’ എന്നു പറയുന്നു; അവനു സത്യഗുരുവായി അദ്ദേഹം തന്നെയെന്ന് സ്മൃതി പറയുന്നു।
