तत्त्वे पीडा न कर्तव्या तया दुः खानि विन्दति / अत्यन्तपीडनात्तस्य रोगस्तस्य न संशयः

tattve pīḍā na kartavyā tayā duḥ khāni vindati / atyantapīḍanāttasya rogastasya na saṃśayaḥ

തത്ത്വത്തിൽ ആരെയും പീഡിപ്പിക്കരുത്; പീഡിപ്പിച്ചാൽ ദുഃഖം തന്നെ തിരിച്ചെത്തും. അത്യധിക ക്രൂരതയിൽ നിന്ന് അവനു രോഗം തീർച്ചയായും ഉണ്ടാകും—സംശയമില്ല।
