हरिं गुरुं ह्यनुसृत्यैव सत्यं गतिं स्वकीयां तेन जानीहि मूढ / दग्ध्वा दुष्टां बुद्धिमेवं च मूढ सुबुद्धिरूपं मा भजस्वैव नित्यम्

hariṃ guruṃ hyanusṛtyaiva satyaṃ gatiṃ svakīyāṃ tena jānīhi mūḍha / dagdhvā duṣṭāṃ buddhimevaṃ ca mūḍha subuddhirūpaṃ mā bhajasvaiva nityam

ഹേ മൂഢനേ! ഹരിയെയും സത്യഗുരുവിനെയും മാത്രം അനുഗമിച്ച് നിന്റെ യഥാർത്ഥ സ്വഗതിയെ അറിയുക. ഈ ദുഷ്ടവും വികൃതവുമായ ബുദ്ധിയെ ദഹിപ്പിച്ച്, ഹേ മൂഢനേ, ‘സുബുദ്ധി’ എന്ന വേഷം ധരിച്ചു വീണ്ടും വീണ്ടും ആശ്രയിക്കരുത്.
