Lord Vishnu
Concept: Forms conceived from the standpoint of individual persons are to be understood as Hari’s forms, because they are unified with Him.
Vedantic Theme: Viśiṣṭādvaita-like sacral unity: plurality of forms grounded in one Lord; the world/persons as modes (prakāra) of the Divine rather than independent ultimates.
Application: Practice seeing the divine presence in beings and experiences without collapsing ethical distinctions; cultivate devotion and humility by offering perception itself to Hari.
Primary Rasa: adbhuta
Secondary Rasa: shanta
Related Themes: Garuda Purana 3.2.11-13 (pralaya, abiding in Hari, jīva dependence)
This verse teaches that even person-based distinctions and conceived forms should be understood as manifestations of Hari, cultivating devotion and a unifying spiritual vision.
By emphasizing unity with Hari, it points the soul’s journey toward recognition of its dependence on—and ultimate alignment with—the Divine, rather than fixation on merely individual identity.
Practice reverence and ethical conduct by remembering the Divine presence in oneself and others, reducing ego-driven division and strengthening bhakti and dharmic living.
