स एव विष्णुः सूकरत्वं ह्यवाप क्षोपणीमुद्धर्तुं दैत्यवपुर्निहन्तुम् / हिरण्याक्षं सज्जनानां खगेन्द्र तथा भूमेः स्थापनार्थं च देवः

sa eva viṣṇuḥ sūkaratvaṃ hyavāpa kṣopaṇīmuddhartuṃ daityavapurnihantum / hiraṇyākṣaṃ sajjanānāṃ khagendra tathā bhūmeḥ sthāpanārthaṃ ca devaḥ

അത് തന്നെയുള്ള വിഷ്ണു ഭൂമിയെ ഉയർത്തി രക്ഷിക്കാനും, ദൈത്യദേഹധാരിയായ ശത്രുവിനെ നശിപ്പിക്കാനും, ഹിരണ്യാക്ഷനെ വധിക്കാനും വരാഹരൂപം സ്വീകരിച്ചു. ഹേ ഖഗേന്ദ്രാ, സജ്ജനഹിതത്തിനും ഭൂമിയുടെ പുനഃസ്ഥാപനത്തിനുമായി ദേവൻ അങ്ങനെ ചെയ്തു.
