तृतीयांशे पठिते वेदतुल्यं फलं भवेन्नात्र विचार्यमस्ति / तृतीयांशश्रवणादेव विप्राः फलं प्रोक्तं पठतोप्यर्थमेवम्

Transliteration

tṛtīyāṃśe paṭhite vedatulyaṃ phalaṃ bhavennātra vicāryamasti / tṛtīyāṃśaśravaṇādeva viprāḥ phalaṃ proktaṃ paṭhatopyarthamevam

Translation

ഈ ഗ്രന്ഥത്തിന്റെ മൂന്നിലൊന്ന് പാരായണം ചെയ്താൽ വേദതുല്യമായ ഫലം ലഭിക്കും—ഇതിൽ സംശയം വേണ്ട. ഹേ വിപ്രാ, മൂന്നിലൊന്ന് ശ്രവണമാത്രം ചെയ്താലും പാരായണത്തുല്യമായ ഫലം ലഭിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പ്രസ്താവിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
