अन्यत्र कुलटाषण्ढपतितेभ्यो द्विषस्तथा / देवातिथ्यर्चनकृते पितृतृप्त्यर्थमेव च / सर्वतः प्रतिगृह्णीयादात्मतृप्सर्थमेव च

anyatra kulaṭāṣaṇḍhapatitebhyo dviṣastathā / devātithyarcanakṛte pitṛtṛptyarthameva ca / sarvataḥ pratigṛhṇīyādātmatṛpsarthameva ca

എല്ലാ ദിക്കുകളിൽ നിന്നുമുള്ള (ദാനം/അർപ്പണം) സ്വീകരിക്കണം; എന്നാൽ കുലട, ഷണ്ഢ, പതിതൻ, ശത്രു എന്നിവരിൽ നിന്ന് അല്ല. ദേവാരാധനക്കും അതിഥിസത്കാരത്തിനും പിതൃതൃപ്തിക്കും, കൂടാതെ ധർമ്മസമ്മതമായ ഉപജീവനത്തിനും സ്വീകരണം യുക്തം।
