This verse teaches divine immanence: the Supreme is not distant but pervades the primary life-supporting cosmic principles—light (Sun), transformation (fire), and nourishment (waters).
By presenting the Lord as all-pervading and the well-wisher of all worlds, it frames liberation and protection as rooted in remembrance of the Supreme who governs and sustains all realms the soul may traverse.
Use the verse as a daily remembrance (smaraṇa) during sunrise, lamp-lighting, or water-offering, cultivating reverence for nature and ethical living aligned with universal welfare (sarvaloka-hita).
