സിംഹിക കന്യയായി ജനിച്ച് വിപ്രചിത്തിയുടെ പത്നിയായി. ഹിരണ്യകശിപുവിന് നാലു പുത്രന്മാർ ഉണ്ടായി; എല്ലാവരും മഹാബലശാലികൾ.
