This verse links Yajña to the Prajāpati lineages, indicating that sacrifice is treated as a cosmic principle embedded in creation and dharma, not merely a ritual act.
Indirectly: by grounding later teachings in cosmic order (dharma) and progenitor lineages, it frames ritual duty (yajña/karma) as part of the moral structure that later affects post-death outcomes.
Treat dharmic duties—ethical living and disciplined worship/offerings—as participation in a larger order, rather than as isolated personal practices.
