This verse presents homa followed by recitation of solar mantras, Gāyatrī (Sāvitrī), and Oṃ as a prescribed purification-and-merit practice, emphasizing disciplined timing and focused mind.
By directing one to perform timely homa and then repeat Surya-mantras, Sāvitrī, and Praṇava with concentration, the verse outlines a classic Vedic sequence for inner purification and steadiness (samāhita-ātman).
Keep a regular, timely routine of a simple fire-offering (or symbolic offering if appropriate), and daily japa of Gāyatrī and Oṃ with focused attention—prioritizing consistency, clarity of mind, and adherence to authentic instruction.
