प्रक्षिपोद्दिशि नैरृत्यां रक्षो ऽपहतये तु तत् / निषिद्धभक्षणाद्यत्तु पापाद्यच्च प्रतिग्रहात्

prakṣipoddiśi nairṛtyāṃ rakṣo 'pahataye tu tat / niṣiddhabhakṣaṇādyattu pāpādyacca pratigrahāt

രാക്ഷസനിവാരണത്തിനായി അത് നൈഋത്യ (തെക്ക്‑പടിഞ്ഞാറ്) ദിക്കിലേക്ക് എറിയണം. നിഷിദ്ധഭക്ഷണാദികളാലും അയോഗ്യപ്രതിഗ്രഹത്താലും ഉണ്ടായ പാപവും അകന്നുപോകട്ടെ.
