मानमेवं विधं प्रोक्तं प्रस्थद्रव्येषु पण्डितैः / द्रवद्रव्येषु चोद्दिष्टं द्विगुणं परिकीर्तितम्

mānamevaṃ vidhaṃ proktaṃ prasthadravyeṣu paṇḍitaiḥ / dravadravyeṣu coddiṣṭaṃ dviguṇaṃ parikīrtitam

ഇങ്ങനെ പ്രസ്ഥമാന ദ്രവ്യങ്ങൾക്കായി ഈ മാനവിധി പണ്ഡിതർ പ്രസ്താവിച്ചു. ദ്രവദ്രവ്യങ്ങൾക്ക് എന്നാൽ പരമ്പരാഗതമായി ഇതിന്റെ ഇരട്ട അളവാണ് നിർദ്ദേശിച്ചത്.
