ശസ്ത്രാഘാതം മുതലായ ബാഹ്യകാരണങ്ങളാൽ ഉണ്ടായ ദുഷ്ടവ്രണം ശോധനയ്ക്കായി എരണ്ടമൂലം, ഹരിദ്ര, ചിത്രകം, വിശ്വഭേഷജം എന്നിവ പ്രയോഗിക്കണം.
