आवाहयेत्ततो मर्ध्नि शिवमङ्गं ततः परम् / कर्णिकायां न्यसेद्देवं सांगं तत्र पुरः सरम्

അതിനുശേഷം ശിരസ്സിന്റെ മുടിമുകളിൽ മംഗളകരനായ ഭഗവാൻ ശിവനെ ആവാഹനം ചെയ്യണം. പിന്നെ കർണികയിൽ അങ്ങോപാംഗശക്തികളോടുകൂടിയ ദേവനെ ന്യാസം ചെയ്ത് അവനെ അവിടെ അഗ്രസ്ഥാനത്ത് സ്ഥാപിക്കണം.
