Transliteration

ayaṃ bhagavato mantro mantrāṇāṃ paramo mahān / vikhyātaṃ kavacaṃ guhyaṃ sarpapāpapraṇāśanam / svamāyākṛtinirmāṇaṃ kalpāntagahanaṃ mahat

Translation

ഇത് ഭഗവാന്റെ മന്ത്രം—മന്ത്രങ്ങളിലൊക്കെയും പരമവും മഹത്തുമായത്. ഇത് പ്രസിദ്ധമായ ഗുഹ്യ കവചം; സർപ്പബന്ധ പാപങ്ങളെ നശിപ്പിക്കുന്നു. പ്രഭുവിന്റെ സ്വമായാശക്തിയിൽ നിന്നു നിർമ്മിതമായ ഇത്, കല്പാന്തംപോലെ അതിഗഹനമായ മഹാരഹസ്യമാണ്.
