pratimarṣo 'vapīḍaśca nasyaṃ pravapanaṃ tathā / śirovirecanaṃ ceti pañcakarma ca kathyate

Translation

പ്രതിമർശം, അവപീഡം, നസ്യം, പ്രവപനം, ശിരോവിരേചനം—ഇവയാണ് ശിരോ/നാസാ ചികിത്സയിലെ അഞ്ചു നടപടികൾ (പഞ്ചകർമ്മ) എന്ന് പറയപ്പെടുന്നത്.
