എരണ്ടം തിക്തരസമുള്ളതെന്ന് പറയുന്നു; കാകമാചി ത്രിദോഷഹാരിണി. ചാംഗേരി കഫ‑വാതം ശമിപ്പിക്കുന്നു; എന്നാൽ സർഷപം (കടുക്) സർവദോഷപ്രകോപകമെന്ന് വിവരണം.
