Lord Vishnu (in discourse to Garuda)
Concept: Excess amla leads to depletion and faintness; in early stage, cooling water and appropriate regimen are advised.
Vedantic Theme: Conservation of vital essence (ojas/śukra) supports steadiness for higher pursuits; moderation prevents depletion.
Application: At early hyperacidity-like signs with thirst/dizziness, cool hydration and light, drying measures may be used per constitution; avoid aggravating foods and overheating.
Primary Rasa: karuna
Secondary Rasa: shanta
Related Themes: Garuda Purana 1.168.36-39 (agni types, ajīrṇa, āma complications, remedies)
It lists decline of śukra (vital essence), dizziness, fainting, and severe thirst as outcomes of amla aggravation.
Apakva indicates an early/undigested stage of the disorder; the verse then suggests a specific regimen suitable to that stage.
Recognize acidity-related warning signs early and stabilize with appropriate hydration and dietary regulation, seeking qualified advice for persistent or severe symptoms.
