धर्मस्य धर्मनेत्रो ऽबूत्कुन्तिर्वै धर्मनेत्रतः / कुन्तेर्बभूत साहञ्जिर्महिष्मांश्च तदात्मजः
dharmasya dharmanetro 'būtkuntirvai dharmanetrataḥ / kunterbabhūta sāhañjirmahiṣmāṃśca tadātmajaḥ
ധർമ്മനിൽ നിന്ന് ധർമ്മനേത്രൻ ജനിച്ചു; ധർമ്മനേത്രനിൽ നിന്ന് കുന്തി ഉദിച്ചു. കുന്തിയിൽ നിന്ന് സാഹഞ്ജിയും മഹിഷ്മാനും എന്ന പുത്രന്മാർ ജനിച്ചു.
