ब्रह्माज्ञया च यत्‍नेन कृतदारो बभूव ह । सुचिरं कृतदारश्च न लेभे तनयं मुने

brahmājñayā ca yat‍nena kṛtadāro babhūva ha . suciraṃ kṛtadāraśca na lebhe tanayaṃ mune

ഹേ മുനി! ബ്രഹ്മാവിന്റെ കല്പനയാൽ അദ്ദേഹം വളരെ പരിശ്രമത്തിനൊടുവിൽ വിവാഹം കഴിച്ചു. എന്നാൽ ദീർഘകാലം വിവാഹിതനായിരുന്നിട്ടും അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് പുത്രൻ ജനിച്ചില്ല.
