Varṣa-devatā Worship in Jambūdvīpa: Hayagrīva/Hayaśīrṣa, Nṛsiṁha, Kāmadeva (Pradyumna), Matsya, Kūrma, and Varāha
उत्तरेषु च कुरुषु भगवान् यज्ञपुरुष: कृतवराहरूप आस्ते तं तु देवी हैषा भू: सह कुरुभिरस्खलितभक्तियोगेनोपधावति इमां च परमामुपनिषदमावर्तयति ॥ ३४ ॥
uttareṣu ca kuruṣu bhagavān yajña-puruṣaḥ kṛta-varāha-rūpa āste taṁ tu devī haiṣā bhūḥ saha kurubhir askhalita-bhakti-yogenopadhāvati imāṁ ca paramām upaniṣadam āvartayati.
ശുകദേവ ഗോസ്വാമി പറഞ്ഞു—ഹേ രാജാവേ! ജംബൂദ്വീപിന്റെ ഉത്തരഭാഗമായ ഉത്തരകുരു-വർഷത്തിൽ യജ്ഞപുരുഷനായ ഭഗവാൻ വരാഹരൂപം ധരിച്ചു വസിക്കുന്നു. അവിടെ ദേവി ഭൂമിയും കുരുക്കളോടുകൂടിയ മറ്റു നിവാസികളും അശ്രാന്തമായ ഭക്തിയോഗത്തോടെ അവനെ ആരാധിച്ച് ഈ പരമ ഉപനിഷദ് മന്ത്രം ആവർത്തിച്ചു ജപിക്കുന്നു.
