तदैवोपागतं देवं वीक्ष्य विस्मितमानसा । प्रत्ययार्थं प्रयुक्ता मे याहि देव क्षमस्व मे ॥ ३३ ॥
tadaivopāgataṁ devaṁ vīkṣya vismita-mānasā pratyayārthaṁ prayuktā me yāhi deva kṣamasva me
കുന്തീ സൂര്യദേവനെ ആഹ്വാനിച്ച ഉടനെ അദ്ദേഹം പ്രത്യക്ഷനായി; അത് കണ്ടു അവൾ അത്യന്തം വിസ്മയിച്ചു. അവൾ പറഞ്ഞു: “ഈ വിദ്യയുടെ ഫലപ്രാപ്തി പരീക്ഷിക്കാനാണ് ഞാൻ ഉപയോഗിച്ചത്. ഹേ ദേവാ, അനാവശ്യമായി നിങ്ങളെ വിളിച്ചു; ദയവായി മടങ്ങിപ്പോകുകയും എന്നെ ക്ഷമിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുക।”

This verse shows a devotee’s humility—after realizing the Lord’s presence, she admits her words were meant only to confirm the truth and sincerely asks the Lord to forgive her.
