याते शूद्रे तमन्योऽगादतिथि: श्वभिरावृत: । राजन् मे दीयतामन्नं सगणाय बुभुक्षते ॥ ८ ॥
yāte śūdre tam anyo ’gād atithiḥ śvabhir āvṛtaḥ rājan me dīyatām annaṁ sagaṇāya bubhukṣate
ശൂദ്രൻ പോയ ശേഷം നായകളാൽ ചുറ്റപ്പെട്ട മറ്റൊരു അതിഥി വന്നു പറഞ്ഞു—“ഹേ രാജാവേ, ഞാനും എന്റെ നായക്കൂട്ടവും അത്യന്തം വിശപ്പിലാണ്; ദയവായി ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് അന്നം തരുക.”
