तत: प्रसेनजित् तस्मात् तक्षको भविता पुन: । ततो बृहद्बलो यस्तु पित्रा ते समरे हत: ॥ ८ ॥
tataḥ prasenajit tasmāt takṣako bhavitā punaḥ tato bṛhadbalo yas tu pitrā te samare hataḥ
വിശ്വബാഹുവിൽ നിന്ന് പ്രസേനജിത് എന്ന പുത്രൻ ജനിച്ചു; പ്രസേനജിത്തിൽ നിന്ന് തക്ഷകൻ. തക്ഷകനിൽ നിന്ന് ബൃഹദ്ബലൻ ജനിച്ചു; അവനെ യുദ്ധത്തിൽ നിന്റെ പിതാവ് വധിച്ചു.
