Brahmā’s Day, the Four Pralayas, and the Supreme Shelter Beyond Cause–Effect
यथा घनोऽर्कप्रभवोऽर्कदर्शितो ह्यर्कांशभूतस्य च चक्षुषस्तम: । एवं त्वहं ब्रह्मगुणस्तदीक्षितो ब्रह्मांशकस्यात्मन आत्मबन्धन: ॥ ३२ ॥
yathā ghano ’rka-prabhavo ’rka-darśito hy arkāṁśa-bhūtasya ca cakṣuṣas tamaḥ evaṁ tv ahaṁ brahma-guṇas tad-īkṣito brahmāṁśakasyātmana ātma-bandhanaḥ
മേഘം സൂര്യത്തിൽ നിന്നുത്ഭവിച്ച് സൂര്യത്താൽ തന്നേ ദൃശ്യമാകുന്നുവെങ്കിലും, സൂര്യത്തിന്റെ അംശമായ കണ്ണിന് ഇരുട്ടുണ്ടാക്കുന്നു. അതുപോലെ, ബ്രഹ്മത്തിൽ നിന്നുത്ഭവിച്ച് ബ്രഹ്മത്താൽ തന്നേ പ്രകാശിതമായ ഭൗതിക അഹങ്കാരം, ബ്രഹ്മാംശമായ ജീവാത്മാവിനെ പരബ്രഹ്മബോധത്തിൽ നിന്ന് തടയുന്നു.
