Other Vedic literatures and other scriptures of the world remain prominent until the Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam is duly heard and understood. Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam is the ocean of nectar and the supreme literature. By faithful hearing, recitation and distribution of Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam, the world will be sanctified and other, inferior literatures will fade to minor status.
This verse states that once Śrīmad Bhāgavatam—the “ocean of nectar”—is heard, its sweetness and spiritual potency outshine other Purāṇic narrations for saintly listeners.
Because he is concluding the narration at Naimiṣāraṇya by highlighting Bhāgavatam’s unique focus on pure bhakti and its nectar-like effect when heard attentively by devotees.
Make consistent time to hear or read Śrīmad Bhāgavatam (daily śravaṇam), preferably with devotees or a trusted commentary, and let its bhakti-centered message become your primary spiritual nourishment.
