ഇവിടെ വർണ്ണിക്കുന്നു—ബാണാസുരനോടുള്ള യുദ്ധത്തിൽ ശ്രീകൃഷ്ണൻ ശിവനിൽ ജൃംഭണം (ജംഭൈ) വരുത്തി ജയിച്ചു; ബാണാസുരന്റെ ഭുജങ്ങൾ ഛേദിച്ചു; പ്രാഗ്ജ്യോതിഷപുരാധിപനെ വധിച്ച് അവിടെ തടവിലായിരുന്ന കന്യകളെ മോചിപ്പിച്ചു।
