Mārkaṇḍeya Ṛṣi Meets Lord Śiva: Devotee as Living Tīrtha and the Lord’s Māyā
सूत उवाच एवं वरान् स मुनये दत्त्वागात् त्र्यक्ष ईश्वर: । देव्यै तत्कर्म कथयन्ननुभूतं पुरामुना ॥ ३८ ॥
sūta uvāca evaṁ varān sa munaye dattvāgāt try-akṣa īśvaraḥ devyai tat-karma kathayann anubhūtaṁ purāmunā
സൂതൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഇങ്ങനെ മുനിക്കു വരങ്ങൾ നൽകി ത്ര്യക്ഷ ഈശ്വരൻ (ശിവൻ) അവിടെ നിന്ന് പുറപ്പെട്ടു. പുറപ്പെടുമ്പോഴും അദ്ദേഹം ദേവിയോട് ആ മുനിയുടെ കൃത്യങ്ങളും, മുനി അനുഭവിച്ച ഭഗവാന്റെ മായാവൈഭവത്തിന്റെ പ്രത്യക്ഷ പ്രകടനവും വിവരിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നു.
