श्रीशुक उवाच एवं सौहृदशैथिल्यचित्त आनकदुन्दुभि: । रुरोद तत्कृतां मैत्रीं स्मरन्नश्रुविलोचन: ॥ ६५ ॥

Transliteration

śrī-śuka uvāca evaṁ sauhṛda-śaithilya- citta ānakadundubhiḥ ruroda tat-kṛtāṁ maitrīṁ smarann aśru-vilocanaḥ

Translation

ശ്രീ ശുകദേവ ഗോസ്വാമി പറഞ്ഞു—അന്തരംഗ സൗഹൃദഭാവം കൊണ്ട് ഹൃദയം മൃദുവായ ആനകദുന്ദുഭി വസുദേവൻ കരഞ്ഞു. നന്ദൻ കാണിച്ച സൗഹൃദം ഓർത്തപ്പോൾ അവന്റെ കണ്ണുകൾ കണ്ണീരാൽ നിറഞ്ഞു।
