Sudāmā Brāhmaṇa: Divine Friendship, Guru-bhakti, and the Lord’s Grace
याचित्वा चतुरो मुष्टीन् विप्रान् पृथुकतण्डुलान् । चैलखण्डेन तान् बद्ध्वा भर्त्रे प्रादादुपायनम् ॥ १४ ॥
yācitvā caturo muṣṭīn viprān pṛthuka-taṇḍulān caila-khaṇḍena tān baddhvā bhartre prādād upāyanam
സുദാമയുടെ ഭാര്യ അയൽ ബ്രാഹ്മണന്മാരോട് നാലു മുട്ടി അവൽ യാചിച്ചു വാങ്ങി, കീറിപ്പോയ തുണിത്തുണ്ടിൽ കെട്ടി, ശ്രീകൃഷ്ണനു സമർപ്പിക്കാനുള്ള ഉപായനമായി ഭർത്താവിന് നൽകി.
