tatas tu bhagavān kṛṣṇo vayasyair vraja-bālakaiḥ saha-rāmo vraja-strīṇāṁ cikrīḍe janayan mudam
The word saha-rāmaḥ, meaning “along with Balarāma,” is significant in this verse. In such transcendental pastimes, Kṛṣṇa is the chief hero, and Balarāma provides additional help.
This verse describes Bhagavān Kṛṣṇa joyfully sporting with the Vraja boys, alongside Balarāma, and how these simple pastimes brought great happiness to the Vraja women.
Because their hearts are absorbed in Kṛṣṇa’s welfare and sweetness; seeing Him happily playing—safe and radiant among His friends—naturally increases their maternal and devotional joy.
Remembering Kṛṣṇa’s simple, joyful pastimes encourages devotees to cultivate pure affection, community, and God-centered happiness rather than anxiety-driven living.
