taṁ dṛṣṭvā parama-prītaḥ pratyutthāya kṛtāñjaliḥ ānarcādhokṣaja-dhiyā praṇipāta-puraḥsaram

ഗർഗമുനിയെ വീട്ടിൽ കണ്ട നന്ദ മഹാരാജൻ അത്യന്തം സന്തോഷത്തോടെ എഴുന്നേറ്റ് കൈകൂപ്പി പ്രണാമം ചെയ്തു; ഇന്ദ്രിയങ്ങൾക്ക് അതീതനായ (അധോക്ഷജ) മഹാപുരുഷനെന്ന ബോധത്തോടെ അദ്ദേഹത്തെ ആദരപൂർവ്വം പൂജിച്ചു।
