तमागतमभिप्रेत्य मुनयो दीर्घसत्रिण: । अभिनन्द्य यथान्यायं प्रणम्योत्थाय चार्चयन् ॥ २१ ॥
tam āgatam abhipretya munayo dīrgha-satriṇaḥ abhinandya yathā-nyāyaṁ praṇamyotthāya cārcayan
അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ വരവ് തിരിച്ചറിഞ്ഞ ദീർഘ സത്രയാഗത്തിൽ ഏർപ്പെട്ടിരുന്ന മുനിമാർ യഥാവിധി അദ്ദേഹത്തെ അഭിവാദ്യം ചെയ്തു—എഴുന്നേറ്റ്, നമസ്കരിച്ചു, ആരാധിച്ചു।
This verse highlights yathā-nyāyam—receiving with proper etiquette: offering obeisances, rising respectfully, welcoming words, and worshipful service.
They recognized he had come for the very purpose they desired, so they honored him in a dharmic way—bowing, standing up, and offering worship befitting his position.
Receive saints, teachers, and guests with humility—offer respectful greetings, attentive listening, and sincere service, keeping the mood of honor rather than entitlement.
