saparyāṁ kārayām āsa sahadevena bhārata naradevocitair vastrair bhūṣaṇaiḥ srag-vilepanaiḥ
This verse describes formal saparyā—devotional worship—where Kṛṣṇa is honored with royal-standard gifts such as fine clothing, ornaments, garlands, and fragrant anointments, emphasizing that the Lord is to be received as the highest guest.
In the Rājasūya assembly, Sahadeva is shown arranging Kṛṣṇa’s honor and worship, reflecting the devotees’ recognition of Kṛṣṇa as supreme and the proper recipient of the foremost respect.
Offer Kṛṣṇa your best—cleanliness, beauty, and sincerity—through simple acts like dressing the Deity or altar neatly, offering flowers or fragrance, and serving with reverence, treating devotion as the highest priority.
