तत: समेखले वीरौ संयुक्तावितरेतरम् । जघ्नतुर्वज्रकल्पाभ्यां गदाभ्यां रणदुर्मदौ ॥ ३४ ॥

Transliteration

tataḥ samekhale vīrau saṁyuktāv itaretaram jaghnatur vajra-kalpābhyāṁ gadābhyāṁ raṇa-durmadau

Translation

പിന്നീട് സമതല യുദ്ധഭൂമിയിൽ ആ രണ്ടു വീരന്മാർ പരസ്പരം ഏറ്റുമുട്ടി. യുദ്ധോന്മാദത്തിൽ മദിച്ചവർ വജ്രസദൃശമായ ഗദകളാൽ തമ്മിൽ തമ്മിൽ പ്രഹരിച്ചു.
