Balarāma Humbles the Kurus and Rescues Sāmba

यस्य पादयुगं साक्षाच्छ्रीरुपास्तेऽखिलेश्वरी । स नार्हति किल श्रीशो नरदेवपरिच्छदान् ॥ ३६ ॥

അഖിലേശ്വരിയായ ലക്ഷ്മീദേവി സ്വയം ഉപാസിക്കുന്ന അവന്റെ പാദയുഗ്മം ഉള്ളപ്പോൾ—ലക്ഷ്മീപതിയായ ശ്രീകൃഷ്ണൻ ഒരു മർത്ത്യരാജന്റെ രാജോപകരണങ്ങൾക്കും അയോഗ്യനോ?
