This verse describes how Krishna’s enemies assaulted Him with many kinds of weapons—showing their hostility and setting the scene for the Lord’s demonstration of invincible divine power.
He narrates the intensity of the confrontation in Pauṇḍraka’s episode, emphasizing that even massive armed aggression cannot overcome the Supreme Lord.
External threats can appear overwhelming, but the Bhagavatam’s message is to take shelter of Hari with steady devotion, trusting that the Supreme ultimately remains unconquerable and protective.
