Kṛṣṇa Defeats Bāṇāsura and Receives Śiva’s Prayers
The Śoṇitapura Battle and the Jvara Episode
ahaṁ brahmātha vibudhā munayaś cāmalāśayāḥ sarvātmanā prapannās tvām ātmānaṁ preṣṭham īśvaram
This verse states that even Brahmā, the devas, and pure-hearted sages surrender to Kṛṣṇa “with the whole self” (sarvātmanā), recognizing Him as the dearest Self and the Supreme Lord.
In the Bāṇāsura episode, Śiva acknowledges Kṛṣṇa’s supreme position and offers surrender and praise, affirming that all exalted beings ultimately take refuge in Kṛṣṇa as Īśvara and the indwelling Self.
Practice wholehearted refuge in God—aligning thoughts, actions, and intentions toward Kṛṣṇa—while remembering that the Lord is both the supreme guide (Īśvara) and the closest inner companion (Ātmā).
