Kṛṣṇa Defeats Bāṇāsura and Receives Śiva’s Prayers
The Śoṇitapura Battle and the Jvara Episode
विशीर्यमाणं स्वबलं दृष्ट्वा बाणोऽत्यमर्षित: । कृष्णमभ्यद्रवत् सङ्ख्ये रथी हित्वैव सात्यकिम् ॥ १७ ॥
viśīryamāṇam sva-balaṁ dṛṣṭvā bāṇo ’ty-amarṣitaḥ kṛṣṇam abhyadravat saṅkhye rathī hitvaiva sātyakim
സ്വസൈന്യം ചിതറിപ്പോകുന്നത് കണ്ട ബാണാസുരൻ അത്യന്തം ക്രുദ്ധനായി. സാത്യകിയുമായുള്ള പോരാട്ടം വിട്ട്, രഥാരൂഢനായി യുദ്ധത്തിൽ ശ്രീകൃഷ്ണനിലേക്കു പാഞ്ഞുചെന്നു.
