कलिङ्गराजं तरसा गृहीत्वा दशमे पदे । दन्तानपातयत् क्रुद्धो योऽहसद् विवृतैर्द्विजै: ॥ ३७ ॥
kaliṅga-rājaṁ tarasā gṛhītvā daśame pade dantān apātayat kruddho yo ’hasad vivṛtair dvijaiḥ
പല്ലുകൾ കാട്ടി ചിരിച്ച് ഭഗവാൻ ബലരാമനെ പരിഹസിച്ച കലിംഗരാജൻ ഓടിപ്പോകാൻ ശ്രമിച്ചു. എന്നാൽ ക്രുദ്ധനായ പ്രഭു അവനെ പത്താം ചുവടിൽ തന്നെ വേഗത്തിൽ പിടിച്ച് അവന്റെ പല്ലുകളെല്ലാം വീഴ്ത്തി।
