Kṛṣṇa Teases Rukmiṇī; Her Devotional Reply and the Lord’s Assurance
पदा सुजातेन नखारुणश्रिया भुवं लिखन्त्यश्रुभिरञ्जनासितै: । आसिञ्चती कुङ्कुमरूषितौ स्तनौ तस्थावधोमुख्यतिदु:खरुद्धवाक् ॥ २३ ॥
padā su-jātena nakhāruṇa-śrīyā bhuvaṁ likhanty aśrubhir añjanāsitaiḥ āsiñcatī kuṅkuma-rūṣitau stanau tasthāv adho-mukhy ati-duḥkha-ruddha-vāk
നഖങ്ങളുടെ ചുവന്ന തിളക്കത്തോടെ പ്രകാശിക്കുന്ന തന്റെ സുകുമാര പാദംകൊണ്ട് അവൾ നിലം കുറുകെ വരച്ചു. കൺമഷി കലർന്ന കണ്ണീർ കുങ്കുമം ചാർന്ന স্তനങ്ങളിൽ തളിച്ചു. അവൾ തലകുനിച്ച് നിന്നു; അതിദുഃഖം കൊണ്ട് ശബ്ദം മുട്ടി.
