मिथिलायामुपवने विसृज्य पतितं हयम् । पद्‍भ्यामधावत् सन्त्रस्त: कृष्णोऽप्यन्वद्रवद् रुषा ॥ २० ॥

mithilāyām upavane visṛjya patitaṁ hayam padbhyām adhāvat santrastaḥ kṛṣṇo ’py anvadravad ruṣā

Translation

മിഥിലയുടെ പ്രാന്തപ്രദേശത്തുള്ള ഒരു തോട്ടത്തിൽ വെച്ച് ശതധന്വാവിന്റെ കുതിര വീണുപോയി. ഭയചകിതനായ അവൻ കുതിരയെ ഉപേക്ഷിച്ച് കാൽനടയായി ഓടിരക്ഷപ്പെടാൻ തുടങ്ങി, കൃഷ്ണൻ കോപത്തോടെ അവനെ പിന്തുടർന്നു.
