FAQs

This verse describes the intense joy in Kṛṣṇa’s palace when astonishing news arrives—like a lost person presumed dead returning—showing how separation heightens the sweetness of reunion in Kṛṣṇa’s pastimes.

They heard extraordinary news connected to Kṛṣṇa’s family affairs (the narrative context is Pradyumna’s recovery), and their happiness was so great that it continued for a long time, like welcoming back someone thought lost forever.

It teaches that hope and gratitude deepen when something precious is regained; similarly, devotees cherish renewed remembrance of Kṛṣṇa—through sādhana, kīrtana, and association—especially after periods of distance or forgetfulness.
