Kṛṣṇa Slays Kuvalayāpīḍa and Enters Kaṁsa’s Wrestling Arena
ततोऽभिमुखमभ्येत्य पाणिनाहत्य वारणम् । प्राद्रवन् पातयामास स्पृश्यमान: पदे पदे ॥ १० ॥
tato ’bhimakham abhyetya pāṇināhatya vāraṇam prādravan pātayām āsa spṛśyamānaḥ pade pade
പിന്നെ കൃഷ്ണൻ നേരെ ചെന്നു കൈകൊണ്ട് ആനയെ അടിച്ച് ഓടി. കുവലയാപീഡൻ ഓരോ ചുവടിലും അവനെ തൊടുന്നതുപോലെ പിന്തുടർന്നെങ്കിലും, കൃഷ്ണൻ ചാതുര്യത്തോടെ ഒഴിവായി ആനയെ ഇടറിച്ച് വീഴ്ത്തി.
