सायन्तनाशनं कृत्वा भगवान् देवकीसुत: । सुहृत्सु वृत्तं कंसस्य पप्रच्छान्यच्चिकीर्षितम् ॥ ३ ॥

sāyantanāśanaṁ kṛtvā bhagavān devakī-sutaḥ suhṛtsu vṛttaṁ kaṁsasya papracchānyac cikīrṣitam

സായാഹ്നഭക്ഷണം കഴിഞ്ഞ ശേഷം ദേവകീസുതനായ ഭഗവാൻ ശ്രീകൃഷ്ണൻ അക്രൂരനോട് ചോദിച്ചു—കംസൻ നമ്മുടെ പ്രിയബന്ധുക്കളോടും സുഹൃത്തുകളോടും എങ്ങനെ പെരുമാറുന്നു? രാജാവ് ഇനി എന്താണ് ചെയ്യാൻ ഉദ്ദേശിക്കുന്നത്?
