गायन्त्य उच्चैरमुमेव संहता विचिक्युरुन्मत्तकवद् वनाद् वनम् । पप्रच्छुराकाशवदन्तरं बहि- र्भूतेषु सन्तं पुरुषं वनस्पतीन् ॥ ४ ॥
gāyantya uccair amum eva saṁhatā vicikyur unmattaka-vad vanād vanam papracchur ākāśa-vad antaraṁ bahir bhūteṣu santaṁ puruṣaṁ vanaspatīn
കൃഷ്ണനെ ഉച്ചത്തിൽ പാടിക്കൊണ്ട് അവർ ഉന്മത്തസ്ത്രീകളുടെ കൂട്ടംപോലെ വൃന്ദാവനവനത്തിൽ വനത്തിൽ അവനെ തേടി നടന്നു. ആകാശംപോലെ സകലഭൂതങ്ങളുടെയും അകത്തും പുറത്തും വസിക്കുന്ന പരമാത്മപുരുഷനെക്കുറിച്ച് അവർ വൃക്ഷങ്ങളോടും ചോദിച്ചു.
Lost in the madness of love for Kṛṣṇa, the gopīs inquired about Him from even the trees in Vṛndāvana. Of course, there is no actual separation from Lord Kṛṣṇa, since He is the all-pervading Supersoul.

In Canto 10, Chapter 30, the Bhāgavatam describes the gopīs singing about Kṛṣṇa and searching from forest to forest in intense love, even questioning the trees as witnesses of His presence.
Overwhelmed by separation, they looked for any sign of Kṛṣṇa and treated the forest as conscious participants in His līlā, asking the trees where the all-pervading Supreme Person had gone.
It encourages seeing the Lord’s presence everywhere—cultivating remembrance, humility, and devotion in daily activities, especially when one feels separation or difficulty.
