Gopī-Vipralambha: The Search for Kṛṣṇa and the Revelation of Divine Footprints
आहूय दूरगा यद्वत् कृष्णस्तमनुवर्ततीम् । वेणुं क्वणन्तीं क्रीडन्तीमन्या: शंसन्ति साध्विति ॥ १८ ॥
āhūya dūra-gā yadvat kṛṣṇas tam anuvartatīm veṇuṁ kvaṇantīṁ krīḍantīm anyāḥ śaṁsanti sādhv iti
ഒരു ഗോപീ ദൂരെയായി പോയ പശുക്കളെ കൃഷ്ണനെപ്പോലെ വിളിക്കുകയും, വേണു മുഴക്കുകയും, ക്രീഡിക്കുകയും അത്യന്തം നന്നായി അനുകരിച്ചപ്പോൾ, മറ്റുള്ളവർ ‘സാധു! സാധു!’ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു പ്രശംസിച്ചു।
